We saw the first iPad commercial during the Oscars on Sunday, but not to be outdone, HP released a fast-paced clip of what its upcoming Slate can do. HP didn't give many details on what the Slate is packing when it was debuted at this year's CES, but it's giving us the goods little bits at a time. What do they want you to know now? That unlike the iPad, the HP Slate will support Flash. Take a look at both ads below and tell me — which one gets you more excited to buy?

@ TrulyLoved HP had revealed that design for a slate before apple and they have proof that they hv been working on such a device for several years. they didnt copy anything. get over it apple fanboy/fangirl.

That HP commercial is much better - music and fast-pace make it very cool. As for which product is actually better we shall have to wait and see. :)

oh my god! Really? Why can't HP come up with their own Idea. Its as bad as hyuandia copying all other motor companies. I really hope Apple wins in the battle with HP for patent infringement.

hp's is timed to the music better (i can't tell if apple's is supposed to be) and they both really don't say much about what they do - just a guy doing what it does... i like hp's perspective it is shot at more and i like the music and timing a lot more too. plus the fact that it takes the hp some "time" to load that video makes me giggle, it at least is a little realistic
