Apple TV and YouTube Befriend One Another

Apple has just announced a new partnership with YouTube which will allow Apple TV to wirelessly stream videos directly from YouTube. Users will be able to play the videos on their TV. "This is the first time users can easily browse, find and watch YouTube videos right from their living room couch, and it’s really, really fun,” said Steve Jobs. Apple also announced that it will be offering a new Apple TV with a build-to-order option. The new larger 160GB hard drive offers four times the storage for up to 200 hours of video, 36,000 songs, 25,000 photos or a combination of each, costing around $400. All this, and I quote Jobs by saying "really, really fun," action will start the middle of June.

Maybe he thought people don't sit on their couch when they play wii. I don't know about you, but my wii makes me wanna dance and move around, not sit on the couch and browse. Of course, this is a major "maybe" - I am guessing he was just being dramatic and trying to talk up the new deal.

i'm a mac user but no way this the first time you can see youtube videos on your tv... I always use my Wii to watch youtube and tv-links and such. Maybe if he wants to say something about apple being the first of anything regarding youtube HE SHOULD SAY THAT THEIR INTERFACE IS BETTER, CUTTER AND QUITE SIMPLE but not the first time you can see youtube video on tv (i havent use a ps3 or an xbox360 but i bet you can watch youtube on those too)
