MacBook Air Commercial Celebrates Its Thinnovation

After watching Apple's new MacBook Air commercial, I couldn't help but let my mind wander — Especially with Yael Naim's "New Soul" playing in the background. Imagine for one moment that someone approaches you and says "Excuse me miss, this package is for you," and just like that, you get to open an envelope containing a MacBook Air. Yeah, right — in Apple fantasyland maybe! Check out the full commercial below . . . It's short, it's sweet and it makes brown envelopes look somewhat sexy again.

i mean... okay.. i have a kind of old macbook pro.it has a cd drive, 80gb, 2 gb ram, and what not.essentially what this has.and this is expensive. i hate that it has no cd drive!!!so it can be done wireless, but that means you need another computer to send it to wirelessly. or you plug in an external cd drive.it's pretty, but.... no cd drive. it's not worth the thiness for that. unless cds become obsolete, which they haven't yet. i have to put all my work on dvd's for classes and what not.

Perfect commercial... clever idea, *great* music, beautiful product, not annoying.I'm hoping I'll save enough money over the summer to get one of these. Such a gorgeous design. Perfect size, same great keyboard as the Macbook. I'm a law student so I don't need crazy graphics or all the various stuff people are complaining got left out. Just a nice, light machine.

I love the new macbook. It's the perfect next step in laptop design. I remember when the first macs came out without floppy drives, everyone said that they missed it. It's the same thing here. After about 8 months, nobody will be missing the optical drive. My wishlist for the future is a keyboard that is completely a touchscreen. No keys at all, just one large touchscreen. yay for apple

everytime I buy a mac a new one comes out. I like it except I think its more cosmetic than practical since its memory is only 80GB and the new macbooks are 120.

I recently started switching over from pc to macs 2 years ago. My notebook (Compaq) is about 3 years old now ans it's getting to that point where it ought to be replaced sometime soon. I think the MacBook Air will be my WOOHOO-I-JUST-GRADUATED-COLLEGE present to myself!

OMG! This notebook looks awesome. But I'm very happy with my MacBook Pro. ;)
