Apple teases its forbidden fruit, the indulgent Mac Pro, in a theatrical trailer that spares no expense when it comes to drama. The premium computing machine, which boasts twice the processing, memory, and graphics capability of the current Mac Pro, made its debut at WWDC in June, but the company didn't release details on pricing or availability. Apple only showed off the computer's sleek hardware at the conference, and the latest cinematic trailer is no different.
We can gather from the trailer that the Mac Pro is slated for a Fall 2013 release. The current Mac Pro starts at $2,499 for the quad-core model and $3,799 for the 12-core model. Since the upcoming Mac Pro is touting 12 cores of processing power, PCI Express flash storage at 1,250 MBs, support of 4K video, dual GPIs, 7 teraflops, and dual AMD FirePro graphics, the new computer will most likely cost upward of $3,800.
Stay tuned for pricing and availability announcements, but until that information is released, feast your eyes on Apple's new teaser trailer for the 2013 Mac Pro after the break.
