This year I have vowed to not be frantically hunting for a Valentine's Day gift for my geeky boyfriend during my lunch break on February 14.
Nope, because this year I am enlisting you to do my dirty work for me! I need your help to find the perfect gadget or gadget accessory for my Apple-obsessed, geeky-adorable boyfriend (and all the geeky guys you love as well)! Are you up for the challenge?
Find ideas for Valentine's Day geek gear and be sure to tag them "Valentines day geeky guy" and then come back next week and see if your Geek Gear was chosen!

I need some ideas too!
1ThinkGeek will have some cool new geeky stuff for valentine's day coming up next week. You should keep an eye out.
2Depending on how much you want to spend, I know as the female version of your boyfriend, I'd love the new Time Capsule from Apple.
Otherwise, I agree that ThinkGeek has cute stuff.
3"in a basket" ideas are good too! To have a bag full of smaller items that pertain to his passion.
I did this last year because my boyfriend REALLY loves his car. I made him a little Car Care Package, where I put car wash soap, tire cleaner, interior spray, a scrubber, carnuba wax, etc. in a bag. It was thoughtful and he definitely used all the stuff!
//bonus - he washed my car too!
4i'm getting my boy a few things from think geek!
5i hope that he maybe likes some video games, because a lot of mine are nintendo / halo related. mainly because that is what my boyfriend loves more than anything.
6Usually t-shirts from Think Geek or Penny Arcade, but I like the idea of an "in a basket" kit - I think that might run with that one! Thanks!
7oh, man my boyfriend is totally one in the same.
hes a geek, doesnt even flinch about spending $375 on headphones but has to think about spending $20 on a nice pair of pants.
hes a compsci/polisci double major and he loves apple to the point of having a different mac-themed tshirt (bought/won at store openings, macworld, product releases...etc) every day or more...
anyway, i dont think valentines day is one of the big holidays, i think its nice to celebrate being together and what not, but its not a huge deal to us.
i did something homemade last year and probably will again this year.
he and i like the same kind of cupcakes so ill try to bake them and frost them with apple logos or something, like ive seen posted here before. and i bought a copy of one of those sex position books and plan to go through it with a pen and post its for him to look through too. idk what else though that i could do for vday/anniversary/spontaneous gift giving.
8I got my Geeky Stud 2 free months of World of Warcraft and a new iPod that i plan to upload with all his favorite songs.
9Sorry for the double post, but I would also suggest things from the CAD (webcomic) or GUcomics (another webcomic) store. My Studly Geek has a few shirts from each. Plus its Winter-een-mas at CAD- could make for some cute items / gifts
10Naidean you have this geek gift thing down! Will you be my personal geek shopper?
11Haha Madam, I can try!
12I'm so glad you posted this! I have a geeky boyfriend too, and the hips would be a great help. I've started to go the thoughtful route because it seems that finding unique ways to express your love can never go wrong, even with the geeky guys. My Dove is having a great contest to see how people express their love, and the grand prize is a 5.58cts. "Baby's Breath Diamond Necklace" worth over 21k! Wow! And if that doesn't trip your trigger and give you incentive to be unique this Valentine's Day, you can at least personalize your chocolates from Dove. All great personalization options...I know, 'cause I work with them and have the inside scoop. Be sure to check it out at http://www.mydovechocolate.com Any other personal suggestions for Valentine's Day?
13Yep, gotta a geeky boyfriend as well. I am getting him the super-cute Prada Robot keychain seen here http://www.bridezilla.com/2007/07/ingenious_anniversary_gifts.cfm
Good price for name brand geekiness, lol.
14I book marked something, i hope it works though. was a little slow on getting it to work
