For all you Mac users, I have quite the hotkey tip if you're not already using it. Quicksilver for Macs is a quick way to open up applications and documents just by using your keyboard. More than just an application launcher, you can also move and delete files within Quicksilver.

Here's how it works: Download the program from Blacktree.com and once installed, launch the program and set the hotkeys to a combination that's easy for you remember (for example, I use Apple plus spacebar). Use this hotkey and then start typing the name of the application or document that you want to open, and it shows up on your screen. Press enter to open, and there you are!

That's pretty cool. It makes me wish I owned a Mac, lol.

6i used quicksilver for over a year until i upgraded to leopard. spotlight was supposed to offer the same function but in tiger was just TOO SLOW. now it's FANTASTIC! neither my husband or i reinstalled it after we upgraded.
7Downloaded! I love it.
8I've been using Quicksilver for a really long time. I tried using the spotlight option but I just don't love it like Quicksilver. Like jdots24 I hate it when I sit down on a machine without it
