I adore Apple but I wouldn't want to tote around yet another thingy in my bag to go with the Air. I think Air would stay home and be a portable entertainment system for me. Downloaded Netflix movies, itunes all media, web surfing, email. docking the iphone etc. A tool that wouldn't leave the house.
