Last week, I asked you to help me find a replacement for my Canon SD600 digital camera, which my parents lost on a trip to Napa. My rules were that the camera must be slender, take great pictures, be moderately simple to use, and cost less than $600.
Vadania found a camera that just might do the trick! It's a Fujifilm Finepix 470 Digital Camera, which she's had for about 6 months and used it more than her past two cameras combined. I have to take a trip to Best Buy and check it out in person, but it looks really sleek.

For more about the Fujifilm camera, and one from Buzz, just read more
Buzz also showed off a colorful, KODAK EASYSHARE V603 Zoom Digital Camera, which is extremely compact, has great pre-set options for various lighting conditions. Buzz says a negative to the camera is that you have to use the EasyShare dock to upload the pictures to her computer. Then again, if Buzz uses it, it must be trendy.

Whoa, I love my SD600, sorry you dont have it anymore.
1Just got a Sony dsc-t10, in pink. It is so small, the back of it is almost all screen. Love it
2i have a powershot a620. it's definitely not as slim as sd600 but i don't mind lugging it around. a620 and sd600 has very similar specs - the former has a higher resolution and more shooting modes (e.g. program, av, and tv). an updated (i think) version of a620 is the a640 which looks to be stylish and functional. amazon has it for $330.
i have never personally handled sd's, but just from skimming through reviews and comments, a series produce better photos than sd's.
good luck.
