Macworld 2008: The iPhone Firmware Update Exposed
I couldn't be more stoked about the
MacBook Air, Time Capsule, and the new capabilities of Apple TV, but what I was unreasonably excited about was the firmware update to the
iPhone. It puts a stake through the heart of iPhone critics who have been waiting for "the next version of the iPhone" — this is it! Though it was arguably the smallest reveal of yesterday's
keynote (and confirmed those
prior firmware update rumors) , it was both something for my beloved iPhone and the first thing I could get my hands on. After updating my phone, I instantly added
geeksugar to my home screen, so I am always one step closer to you!

haha
2See its a good thing I waited until all these cute updates. Geeksugar will definitely be one of my icons. :hooray:
3Thanks, aistea311!
4I added it in today. So I am officially a geek with geek sugar on my iPhone...... Love the new update it's made the iPhone allot more personal.... And am really excited about what's to come especially when the SDK is released end of feb....
5I'm excited to see how they handle the user-created apps next. If they're just webapps, I'm going to be sad. I'm worried because they made it so easy to add a website to your home screen. I love the new updates, though!
6I adore the dancing icons. They're just so stinking cute!
7I added geeksugar too! I love the new update.
8I love the new update!
9I'll be um... waiting a little while.
10=)
How do u get the update??
11To get the update, whatever1, just plug your iPhone into iTunes and it should just launch; if not, there's an Update button.
12I love the update! I too added Geeksugar to my home screen. It was nice to put my unused apps onto another page besides my home screen.
