Traditional tripods are usually large, hard to carry and aren't that great to look at. Thankfully companies like Versa are coming out with small, flexible tripods that are great for hands-free photo shoots. I've seen similar models like this design including the all terrain tripod, but I've never seen such a bright color selection before! Would you ever consider using one of these tripods for your camera? Or are they over-the-top geeky?

I think it's pretty chic
1I love it and asked for one for Christmas, but ended up with just a regular little digi one. Oh well.
2Sounds useful but looks kinda tacky =\
3I love these! I got a Gorillapod awhile back for my Canon Elph and it was awesome! It's so easy to store and it's much easier to use than traditional tripods. Plus, the flexible legs are incredibly useful.
I need to buy one for my DSLR but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.
4I bought one of these for my dad about 2 years ago and he loves it. Now he can take pictures of him and my mom on all their frequent travels when it's just the two of them, plus he uses it as a steady hand, since he's a little older and can sometimes be shaky.
I keep meaning to get one for myself and now that there are more color choices, I definitely need to get one now.
5They're cute, but I'd rather get the pink gorillapod.
6Oh yeah the Joby Gorillapod is awesome!
7i LOVe them!
8they are the neatest things ever!
i have one and WOW!... wonderuL!
They are cute, but I don't think they will be able to hold my Nikon Cool Pix camera.
9Now that would definitely come in handy!
10I love my gorillapod - they didn't have all these colors when I got it, or I would have completely gotten the blue one. Very geeky chic!
11I have been wanting one for quiet some time and the fact they have one in blue is icing on the cake.
12I love these and definitely want one! Though I am a pink girl, something about that orange one screams "fun"!
13i dunno.. that's neat but weird. i prefer those portable fold them up and go tripods you featured a little bit ago - those were really neat.
14Great idea but they're ugly.
15My stepmom got one of these for Christmas and it's totally cool. Really sturdy and well-designed.
16I saw someone use this and its pretty awesome. They don't have to hold their camera or have someone take their picture if a pole is near by. They just wrap it around and set the timer on.
I want one!
17They could be chic-er. But I still like them.
18these look great. i love how the sort of fold up so that they can be taken on the road quite easily.
19It would be great for those night shots- I always get the fun swirly lines but on occasion it would be nice to have an actual shot
20i have a gorillapod and it is AMAZING!! sooo versatile! it's super easy to use and carry around. i just throw it into my purse and go. i always wanted to take pictures with my bf that included more background and less US, which is hard to do when there's no one to take the picture for you.
21OOooooooooh I want! How did I miss those?
22I have one. It's definitely more versatile than a rigid tripod, especially when you want to take long exposure night shots and can't find a stable, large enough surface for even a mini tripod.
23GORILLA POD! I need a pink one NOW!
