I've always wanted to try-out Built's laptop cases — You know the company behind the funky and flexible lunch bag totes? Well at CES, I got a sneak-peek of Built's latest addition to their laptop tote collection, the lightweight backpack. This ultra-slim bag fits right against your back and can be used to transport your laptop and other items as the shoulder strap includes an easy-access compartment. The backpacks are set to go on sale this April, will be available in medium and large sizes, and cost $80 each. I'm not really digging this zebra style print although I could see myself using the black one. Is it too geeky or do you think it's geek chic?

In my opinion, it's pretty geeky
1can't really see it.. and not that much of a back-pac gal... umm not sure. x
2i can't decide if i like that or not.
3kinda strange looking and I can't figure it out from the picture.
4can't get a good look at it, but I just bought builts 32oz water bottle cover and love it!
5i have a blackberry 8100 how do i install the color pearl from my computer to my phone and where do i go?i want to change the color of my trackball.
6It's grotesque. I do like the laptop sleeves that Built has.
7I agree with hkdkat, it is kinda strange looking lol... Dont really think its something I'd see myself buying.
8In black perhaps it would be better? It does look a bit funky, but I'm undecided, I think... I like backpacks with laptop cases, but this is confusing...
9Its hard to tell from the picture whats going on. Is it like a vest type backpack?
10It's geeky and... UGLY!
11I can't figure that thing out. Even if I could, I probably wouldn't use it.
12I wished to make two recommendations for those interested in purchasing the large Built Laptop backpack. Love the design, hate the purchase.
The first: While the large size bag is purported to hold computers 12"-17" wide screen sizes, your 17" laptop will not fit comfortably. The top closing zippers will not close without extraordinary strength and effort. When finally closed, the strain of fit will cause the stitching to pull away from the neoprene fabric.
The second: If you decide to purchase the Built laptop bag, avoid Antonline as the source of purchase. While the company offers a low price, consider paying more for the bag from another retailer. The company has the least customer friendly policies and customer service personnel of any online retailer from which I have purchased products. RMA's, original packaging requirements, freight cost responsibility both ways by the customer for returns, and restocking fee for a $50 purchase created a situation that the cost to return the bag was greater than the cost of bag itself.
