I don't know why I'm so fascinated with luxury gadgets. It's probably because they are usually intricate, flashy, and I can never afford them. I was hoping to see more luxury electronics at CES this year, but I did manage to come across this bad boy—The K2 Mounts under the bed lift. As you'll see in the video below, it's a custom lift that raises your flatscreen out from under the bed to an ideal viewing height. And it can be all yours for around $17,000. It seems like a rather large contraption to me (and somewhat dangerous), I'd rather settle for a bed that comes with the flatscreen built in! What do you think?

No thanks. I don't watch TV in bed.
1no thanks. yep, i'm all for the flatscreen built in bed, too!
2I'd rather just have it on the wall.
3i dont like electronics near my bed all because one of the first nights i spent with my husband, when we were still dating, i kicked something off the bed and it turned his playstation on and i heard the whirring noise of the disc in it and i thought it was something moving around like a rat or something, yeah his place was pretty gross . . . but seven years later were married and our place is nice and clean and electronics stay away from the bed, we wouldnt want what we call "the playstation" monster getting me
4I don't really like electronics in the bedroom either- but especially if you had pets... that thing looks kinda dangerous, and if poor kitty was in the wrong place at the wrong time...
5It's completely over-engineered. I stayed at a hotel that had the tv in a cabinet and there was a remote that you could use to raise the TV up out of the cabinet. I could see building something like that into the footboard of a bed. I'd prefer that than accidentally vacuuming/breaking the tv that's hidden under the bed.
6Looks amazing! But I dont think Id feel comfy with something that expensive being under my bed!

!!
8i think id' break that....
9hurmmm...look hi-tech but not from under my bed..
10Sort-of cool however I prefer/ feel safer with my flat screen on a table. I have pets and they go under my bed; my luck they would nail the screen or harm themselves.
11Pimp my bed.... pointless... T.V's aren't that ugly anymore and I'm quite happy having mine on display..
12I'd prefer on the wall as well, at the moment i use the computer in my room as a tv.
13I'm with GeekSugar. I'd rather have a flatscreen built in!
14Haha I love it
15But having stuff cluttering under your bed is bad Chi.
Nah.
16We don't have a TV in our bedroom right now anyway, so I certainly couldn't see us spending $17,000 to put in a motorized one!
17Seems like a cool concept but I think I would be scared of it falling on me or something, plus it doesn't look kid friendly.
18This would be great for a single person. But for someone that has children that loves to bounce on the bed, then NO WAY. This is too expensive to be under the bed with them around. Other than that, then yes it's great for a single person.
19on the wall, yes but UNDER my bed????
20No, thanks!!
i love it
