The great thing about CES, is the fact that you can be checking out a 108-in. plasma TV one minute and then be taking pictures of pink and purple neon telephones the next. Aside from the bright neon lights, these telephones are definitely geeksugar retro-gadget worthy. And with the lights, well . . . I'll let you draw your own conclusions. Some may think these are over-the-top old school and geeky, while others will automatically say geek chic. What are your thoughts?

I had one of these when I was in Jr. High! Amazing.
Tacky!
Yea,they remind me of 1988, not 2008.
Wasn't this one of those stupid *rewards* you could get when you were in middle school and had to sell out of those Christmas catalogs with candy, wrapping paper and gaudy gifts?? Ha, this was like the middle reward category and the higher ones were like a VCR, walkie talke or bike lol!
Haha they're alright, but my boyfriend would never allow it!
clarissa explains it all!
wow this is sooo 90s. i think i wanted this when i was like 7.
I don't care what they are, I want one!
Why settle for boring
phones?
I don't understand how this is geek chic. I don't know why anyone would want this in their house.
I think I had something similar to that in college. Someone stole it from the dorms and I was sad...LOL
I like the purple!! If i actually used a house phone...I would get this!
They are so...early 90's.
No thanks. It looks so tacky!
Very 1987!

Too 2001 (or the 80's, which ever decade you were raised in.) I had a royal blue one when I was 10; I'm over the trend.
theyre ugly.
These are so 80s.
Maybe if I was 9 years old
I wanted one of these soooooo bad when I was little. Unfortunately, by the time I was old enough for my own phone line, the trend was over. I feel neon phone deprived.
lol.
disgusting.
Wow, those are straight from the 80's! I wanted one then, now not so much! I can see how they'd appeal to kids in jr. high though.
I'm scared.
My 9 year old saw it and screamed "I want the pink one for my room!"
My daughter would LOVE one of those. Granted she's three.
It reminds me of the phone I had in high school.. only mine was teal. I can't remember the last time I've had a corded phone.
aw I used to have one of these! I want another one.
I didn't realize people are still using landlines.
Talk about a blast from the past! I used to have one when I was younger.
They are sooooo DAMN ugly
OMG!!! I had one in college.
The 80's need to stay in the 80's.
I knew so many girls who had these growing up. I think it could be geek chic in the right setting.
Geeky! No thanks, I'll stick with the VTech phone I have in my room.
I totally remember having one about 15 years ago!
I had a pink Guess phone like this that had a notepad/bulletin board thing attached that wrote in neon. It was great!
no way! very middle-school chic
Porn Star...that's what those phones make me think of!
I remember in high school when I had my own line with a purple vtech cordless phone with caller id!!! I felt like the coolest kid having a purple beeper and returning the calls on my purple cordless. Oh Yeah, give me back my childhood.
I feel rather ashamed to say this, but I rather like it!
these make me wish i still had a land line. neon just about anything totally rules
Wow, I totally had one of those in jr. high - I was so excited when I got it, I felt so cool! I would totally get another one, for nostalgia's sake alone.
They are soooo 1980's!
If it was cordless I might still think they were as neat as they were when I was 12
HA !! I had this phone when I was 8 ! it was the 1st phone I had in my room. it's awful but I loved it !
Brings back so many memories! I had a white one in jr. high! I'd buy one (in purple!) just to have a taste of the past.
ummm!? Tacky!
