Every New Year, I usually make a point to send all my friends a "Happy New Year" text message [1]. Maybe I was having too much fun when the clock struck 12 because I completely forgot to get my phone out and send a single text message. My friend on the other hand, woke up the next morning to realize that she had sent out a mass text to hundreds of her friends. I'm sure she'll be overjoyed when her phone bill arrives at the end of this month!
According to Valleywag [2], millions of text messages were sent simultaneously at midnight on New Year's. Many arrived, many didn't, and many were delayed. I'm curious to know whether or not you are a New Year's texter? . . . Scroll down to leave your answer!
