Earlier this week I shared some of my hot gadget predictions for 2008, some of which were utterly foreseeable (for example the success and hype around the wireless Kindle reader is bound to make eReaders a heavily replicated device) and some were more hopeful (please, please let there be more flash based personal media players!). I want to know: What gadget and technological innovations are you looking forward to in the coming year?

Prices on laptops falling even lower!
1Whatever Mac releases. I heart Mac!
Also, Mario Kart Wii is supposed to come out this year.
2Other - for Verizon to release a thin (not small) usable qwerty phone. EnV and Voyager- too fat. Samsung thing - crappy voice, and keys are too small.
3I hope they announce the TINY laptop at MacWorld.
4Bring on MacWorld and bring on ultra portable, slim, touch screen laptop..
Only question is "what can I sell to buy one?"
5OLED TVs
6Oooh I wish Macworld would get here! I wanna know what's happening w/ the iphone!
7more wireless stuf!
too bad my school is downgrading the wireless.
i just don't need any more apple products. they are nice though.
8I so wanted to put whatever Apple says. But instead I put touchscreens. I've had the voyager about two months now, and an Ipod touch for a few more. My mom recently upgraded her phone and when she showed it to me I immediately went to push the buttons on the screen!
At that very moment I realized how spoiled I am by touch screens- I'd love to see more of them.
9SweetnLow- what if those two were combined?!?! I really suspect that Apple is going to release a touch screen computer really soon. I don't know why else they would move to a glass screen iMac. That just adds weight and bulk.. I suspect that Mr. Jobs is up to something
10Next new web phenomenon.
11I'm with SweetnLow...more touchscreens for personal use. They're everyhere away from home...from the banks, to cashiers, to movie theatres.
12I said eReaders because I really, really want one and have for years. I used to use my PDA for it, but its monochrome LCD had these awful shadows that made it very hard to read. Having experienced the convenience, though, I've been pining for a device with a good screen for that for a long time.
Touch screens are my second choice. I've been drooling over HP's TouchSmart PC. I saw an amazing touch-screen home theatre remote the other day -- I don't want it but it looked awesome. GPS systems too -- again I don't need one but they are really cool. I'm going to buy a Samsung P2 pretty soon (it can also read text files, so bonus there -- and it's smaller and lighter than an iPod Touch).
Android is my third choice. There are a lot of possibilities, but so far I only have an inkling of them.
13Looking forward to more Robots and the advancement of The Nokia N800 and N810 !
