For me video games and Christmas go hand-in-hand. There's something unexplainable about watching your sixty-something dad attempt Guitar Hero III for the first time, or showing your sister how far Mario has advanced since Mario Bros. 3 in Super Mario Galaxy. And even though we are all grown adults, my family still managed to scream and holler when I pulled out the Wii Christmas morning. Did you play many games yesterday? I'd love to know which ones! 1My family played games....board games! I could not even imagine playing my little brother's Halo 3 with my parents.

33I played a little Guitar Hero 3 for Wii. I taught my boyfriend how to play it and he's starting to become addicted.

So far I'm most addicted to Phantom Hourglass. I just can't seem to put down Zelda games.

40We did play some Rock Band on Christmas. I played Guitar Hero 3 yesterday and WOW, is that game hard to go back to again after playing Rock Band. When Harmonix split with the Guitar Hero series to make Rock Band, they took all my favorite things about the Guitar Hero series with them. RB over GH3... hands down.
No video games for Christmas for us. But we did get a Nintendo version of Monopoly! That's geeky, no?
41world of warcraft of course and also catch phrase and scattegories. my mom always finds some toys for us to play with, now that we are grown, the youngest is 21 and oldest 28 (including husbands/wives and a few friends that celebrate with us), this year we had nerf arrow guns to play with, that was exhausting, oh and we pulled the ping pong table out as well.

47We played Cooking Mama for quite a while. I guess thats what you get for having little nieces... I don't know what to think about that game- one of few games targeted at females, and they're cooking. It may be sexist, but they go crazy for it
48omg we got so many video game stuff for christmas, it was great, and we still have not stopped playing, between the DS brainage challenges, and the guiter hero 3, we are complete addicts.
