This past year has definitely seen its fair share of big tech stories. It feels like yesterday we were lining up outside the Apple store for the highly anticipated iPhone launch! And who can forget the countdown to the ultra chic Leopard OS X operating system? Or maybe you were more excited about Google's announcement to create an open platform for cell phones? Last but not least, the last story to steal the spotlight this year was the release of the Amazon Kindle, which is said to be sold out till after Christmas. What do you think was the biggest tech news story of 2007?

and the iphone was interesting to everyone - we had to write an essay about it for one of my classes
As much as I am anti-mac, the Iphone topped it.
Android all the way!
The best news might be a different story...but the biggest? iphone, no contest.
The overhyped iPhone by far!
Iphone!
iphone of course lol
The iPhone. However I have none of those things.
It's the Iphone because of its too-hyped media campaigns and advertising .
it's either the iPhone launch - or the launch of the microsoft touch platform that's going into hotels and restaurants
The iPhone, most definitely. I've never seen so much publicity and craze for a phone before.
The iPhone for sure. You can hate the hype all you want but this little phone has push other manufacturers to make much cooler phones. Apple gets the attention because the innovate.
This isn't even a question. iPhone. Hands down.
I'm curious as to why there's so many mac haters?
