I'd be scared to add up all the money I've spent on airport WiFi connections in the past few years. As much as I moan and complain, I'm always willing to spend $5, $10 and sometimes $20 for an hour of Internet access. All hope is not lost. The Athletic Minded Traveler [1] has just announced that San Diego can be added to the growing list of airports that are becoming "Internet Friendly" (offering free WiFi). What, a growing list? Yes it's true, airports with free WiFi [2] do exist. Here's a list of some airports in the US that have free WiFi:
- Charlotte, NC
- Jacksonville, FL
- San Diego, CA
- Kansas City, MO
- Las Vegas, NV
- New Orleans, LA
- Orlando, FL
- Pittsburgh, PA
- Portland, OR
- Phoenix, AZ
- Sacramento, CA
- Tucson, AZ
- Tampa, FL
