I fell for the ezSkin iPhone protector from ezGear because it reminded me of the orange gel case Cameron Diaz and Jessica Biel use on their BlackBerrys. Now that I've ventured into the world of gel cases with the ezSkin I fully understand why the two stars have put their jealousy of having both dated Justin Timberlake aside and don't mind using the same cell case. Unlike hard leather cases, gel cases slide on your phone with ease and offer bright, colorful protection for your phone's body. The case doesn't hide your device, but it keeps it safe.
The ezSkin, $30, comes in frost white, cool blue (seen here), princess pink and onyx black. Apparently, the film used to make the case has its origins in the US military, where it was used to protect the leading edges of helicopter blades from wear and tear while traveling hundreds of miles per hour. Sounds like the kind of film you want on your phone, right?

6The invisible Shield stuff it talks about (the helicopter blade protector material) is only for the screen. You can actually buy the invisible Shield for the entire iPhone. It doesn't protect it from drops but keeps it clear of scratches. It does kind of give it a weird glossy look though.

The silicone cases get lint really easy. It is a pain to clean them off.
Invisible Shield is awesome too. If I ever let my phone go naked I will get one of those.
