I fell in love with Nintendo’s mini portable gaming system, the DS Lite, the very moment I laid eyes on it. Its tiny design matches my beloved MacBook and offers a grand selection of amusing games for those of us that adore gadgets and games, but aren’t gaming freaks: Super Mario Bros and Tetris, Pirates of the Caribbean to everyone’s favorite, Sudoku.

The system features two screens - one of which is touch screen - WiFi, voice recognition and even a close range instant messaging feature for $129.99. It may lack the PSP's MP3 and photo storage, but it makes up for it with its retro design and sleekness. Launched in the US in polar white, jet black and coral pink. Get your own Nintendo DS Lite for $129.

I just played Game Cube last night. I haven't tried out the Wii yet or the DS. The coral one is wicked cute.

1Oh my god I LOVE THIS THING, and I am not a 'gamer'. Super Mario Bros, Brain Age and Tetris are about my speed. However, I just got Final Fantasy 3, and I am sooo hooked. I played my entire 4 hr flight to Utah and back!
2I have one as well! I love it! The sims2 is pretty wicked! I got mine however a week before the pink and black ones came out! I didn't even know about the pink and black ones until it was too late. SAD!
3I love The Sims but it is VERY addictive....I haven't played it in almost a year. It is pretty time consuming.
4I don't even want to admit how much time I've spent playing the Sims. Too much.
5I go in cycles with the Sims. I'll play non-stop for a week, then decide I'm spending too much time in front of the computer, and take a break for a couple of weeks, before getting hooked again.
I love my DS, though. It's so easy to open up and play a game or two. Right now, I'm loving Elite Beat Agents. Sooo much fun!
6I get way more into designing rooms and their outfits than actually playing the game. But I STILL spent waaaaay too much time playing the game.
