I like doing art projects and scribbling on the weekends to balance my time spent in front of the computer during the week. It's not that I don't love the Internet, because I always enjoy time spent cruising websites and stores, but I do think it's important to strive to be creative away from the computer — even for geeks like myself. I can't draw very well, or implement designs onto paper, so my case would look like crap. Also, if I'm going to spend the money, why not spend it on something I actually like.
