Did you know a typical worker's desk has hundreds of times more bacteria per square inch than an office toilet seat? In fact, a University of Arizona study found office toilet seats had 49 germs per square inch, while desktops had almost 21,000 germs per square inch. Even worse? Phones had more than 25,000 germs per square inch.
Geek tip: Wipe down your work area with disinfectant wipes a couple times a week to prevent the spread of unwanted germs.
