On Friday, Oprah revealed her latest project—her own YouTube Channel. The new channel already includes teasers for upcoming shows, behind-the-scenes footage and a sneak peek at Tuesday's show which will officially reveal her YouTube debut. The unveiling show will include appearances by YouTube founders Steve Chen and Chad Hurley, plus infamous "youtubers" like Tyson the skateboarding dog. According to Valleywag, The Oprah Show grabs 5 million viewers daily, so it will be interesting to see how much of her fans will watch her new Vlogs. Way to go O! And yes, this is a screenshot of Oprah practicing her own film making skills with The Flip Ultra Series digital camera.

That's cool. I've always liked Oprah. I like to think of her chillaxing late at home with her dogs and Steadman, and watching youtube late at night on her laptop, ha!
1I'm super curious to see how this will influence viewership. It seems like a brilliant tool to me. For people who can't watch her show, but have always wanted to, this will be a fantastic way to expand her audience. Too bad she's going into her last few years of total world domination. Thankfully we have Ellen to keep things spicy when the 4pm hour hits!
2Way to go O indeed :]
