I absolutely love this geek chic Halloween costume idea—and there's no skimpy outfit required! Take a few pieces of white bristol board, cut a whole in a the top and get busy with the markers to become an actual YouTube page! Featured on Core77, this costume requires little preparation and allows you to 'think outside the box' so to speak with your video title. This guy is definitely having fun in his YouTube "OMG! 10My husband and I were "facebook" and "myspace" this year. He got a book and cut a hole out for his face and wore it on his head (face-book), then I suspended a hula-hoop around me with clear string (it was "my space"). Pretty easy and cheap costumes, but people thought it was funny.

Its always the unique costumes like this that get the best reviews from the public. Granted I have worn "captain hooker" before, but seeing some guy walking down the street as optimus prime is even cooler.
