Creative Cord Organizers: Love or Leave?

I'm all about ingenious ways to hide my cords, but I don't know if I'd be willing to put up a white-picket fence in order to do so. Here are two creative ways to keep those pesky cables hidden— a Wall Cleat and a Picket Fence. Featured on Gearfuse, the white, simplistic Wall Cleat lets you wrap loose, unplugged cables around it, therefore keeping your dangling cables neatly stowed. And with the indoor Picket Fence which I spotted on OhGizmo!, will create a wall to hide all your wires around a room — much nicer looking than using duct tape, that is for sure! i really dont like the picket fence things, but like the idea, do like the wall cleat though. better than wrapped up cords with twist ties laying on the ground for my cats to play with.

I like both ideas. If I had the perfect cute house or office then I would do the white picket fence thing. But right now it is just something for my dog Izzi to chew on. I really would like to try the one around the outlet.

Wow. That fence is a little too much.

I am always tripping over my chords. You would think that after a couple times I would learn to pick up my feet more...

I would use the one around the outlet over that fence..

They are both really cute though if you have kids I am not sure they would be that good...at least in my case my daughter likes to pull on everything so it wouldn't last very long lol

I like the fence, if I had the sort of decor to match that, I would definitely go for it.

I'd like to find something that looks sort of like crown molding to hide my cords. Our family room/office is a bit too cord-cluttered, between cable, TiVo, computers, servers, etc. Anything to make it look more homey and less office-y.
