Hostess Carmen Electra definitely got the party started at a recent Guitar Hero III event. Carmen wasn't the only one testing her musical abilities as she was joined by a few Dallas Cowboy team members, including Tony Romo.
Discussed on Kotaku, all this multi-player action happened over Xbox Live with Carmen rocking out to 'Legends of Rock'. Is it just me or does it seem completely normal to see Carmen playing a guitar? Maybe she picked up a few pointers from her ex-husband-guitarist Dave Navarro. With classics like Rock And Roll All Nite by Kiss, School's Out by Alice Cooper and Barracuda by Heart, I'm sure Carmen and her back-up Guitar Hero band boys created some sweet sweet music.

Well, damn. I wasn't planning on getting Legends of Rock since I already have Guitar Hero I & II and am planning on getting Guitar Hero DS...
But I was just sold on Guitar Hero II for one reason: Barracuda!
1I'm DYING for GH3 to hit stores (and it will - just a week before my birthday! Good timing, no?). I'm not super-great at the game, but I have finished GH1, GH2 and GH Encore: '80s Rock on Medium and started all of them on Hard - I just can't get the hang of that 5th orange button because my hands are so small! My husband has huge hands and can reach back and forth with his pinky from blue to orange with no problem, and as a result, he's beat all our games on Hard and is working on Expert level. 2I can't waaaaaaaait. What a great series. I played the demo and it looks quite different from the rest! I guess because one of the parties involved parted ways to make the 'Rock Band' game. GH3 will take some getting used to, but the set list is fun.
3If you can play awesome guitar on GH3, can that improve real guitar skills?
