1i love GOOG-411.
2i've been using it for a while now.
i love google.
I use this all of the time! Love it to death.
The only part that doesn't work well is that you can't ask for phone numbers for national or regional companies like customer service for your cell phone or for your home phone, or your utility, etc.
But for free, who can complain?

6I've used 1-800-FREE-411 for awhile and you used to could get residential numbers on it too, but now it's only business like Google. I need a residential 411 cuz it's like 1.79 each time I dial 411 from my mobile.

12tatti-GOOG 411 is a life saver.
it's free and you don't have to worry about ads. i use to use 1 800 FREE 411 but the voice recognition wasn't that great and you had to wait at least a minute to get your number.
GOOG 411's voice recognition is pretty good. they give you the correct listings, the automated voice may repeat them back differently but that is always a good laugh. i've used it a lot and have yet to get the wrong listing.
13GOOG-411 is more reliable than that other free-411 thing. The last time I ever used free-411, a rude operator told me that my town does not have a grocery store and ungrammatically shouted, "you is getting outrageous." GOOG-411 understands my (very standard midwestern) accent, never shouts at me, and has always found me exactly what I needed.

15So, I tried Goog411 and yeah it is better. I still wish they'd give me residential listings though.

17i just felt the need of sharing this wonderful offer i've learned from my mom..i used to spend almost a quarter of my earnings to my phone bill but after switching to 1-800-411 SAVE, i just realized how big i can set aside for my saving..
