For some of you this might be a difficult question to answer since the Wii and the
Nintendo DS offer such unique gaming experiences. According to Kotaku, Nintendo data has revealed that more than half of DS and Wii players in Japan are women—making Japanese women more avid gamers than men. What I want to know is if you had to choose, which Nintendo gaming device are a bigger fan of—the Wii or the DS? Leave your answer below!

17I haven't voted for any. I have both of them and I LOVE both of them. I couldn't choose just one! I think both of them are great gaming consoles, each one for its appropriate time and place.

You can't compare a console to a handheld. It doesn't make sense.

I bought the wii for my 5 and 3 year old boys...they LOVED IT...I love it because my husband and I sneak into their rooms when they are sleeping late and night and play tennis...
31A very difficult choice, considering I own both and love both, but since I have to choose, I'll say I like the Wii better because it gets me up off the couch and moving.
32I have and love both, but I chose the Wii because it's fun to play with a group of people. I'm also a huge fan of the Everybody Votes channel. And while I like BrainAge and (yeah, I'm not too cool to admit it) Nintendogs, I'm getting rid of my DS Lite and trying out the new PSP.
33I like them both. However I love how in-depth the Wii games are like MySims for example but DS is great for traveling and waiting rooms.
34My heart lies with the 8 bit, but I wouldn't say no to a DS or a Wii.

The Wii could use more games though... The reason more women play the it than men is because it tends to have more, hm, what's the word... friendly games? Family-oriented? Whereas 360 hands down has more guys on it than girls as it's based more on competition with Xbox Live, and you know how crazy they get. I love playing them, it's hilarious. Even better when they lose.
38That's way to difficult of a question to answer. Sometimes, I'll finish whatever DS game I'm addicted to and it'll sit on my nightstand for six months, but then I'll find another game and I'm totally addicted again. The Wii is amazing. It's the perfect gaming platform for non-gamers. I haven't really played anything for about four months, but am really excited for all the new games coming out like the new Raving Rabbits, Mario and Sonic Olympics and I can't wait for the Wii Fit thing. So, I pretty much switch between the DS and the Wii and would never be able to decide which I prefer.
39If you consider the mental exercise of Brain Training for the DS and the physical exercise of the Wii, both are equally beneficial
