While I have chosen to decorate my house with more of an understated and modern theme I have a bizarre fascination with intricate furniture with a touch of geek.
While only a concept, this chair made from hundreds of blank cds designed by Belen Hermosa offers inspiration for those of us that have gigantic used CD collections lying around. I can't imagine it's especially comfortable, but it does have a special geek chic flare, right?

Woolrich
Bottega Veneta
Bikkembergs
Its kind of cool looking, but my first thought is that it might be uncomfortable
1eww. tacky
2i feel like i'm gonna slide right off of it
3I think that it would be awesome if you had a stiff or achy back.
4A brilliant design, it looks awesome, but uncomfortalbe.
5totally does not look comfortable at all!
6Ouch! It has form but not much for function...
7doesn't look like something i would wanna sit on!
8Yupp...a little TOO geek-y for me!
9I figured out it's one appealing factor...it's shiny!!!
10I would totally see it in an architect's or designer's office...or even a dentist's office. It's time those maroon-n-green offices got a hi-tech look!!!
11It so totally needs to be stuck in a giant microwave oven!!!!
12looks cool
13Looks cool but is there anyway that is comfy? I'm thinking it's not.
14Hahha, you would roll off it and fall on the floor!
15erm...maybe if you added a really padded cushion?!
16That looks super uncomfortable. This is a pass for me.
17It's so uncomfortable-looking.
18Its cool looking but it would probably be uncomfortable.
19looks neat but like everyone said, doesn't look too comfy or practical...
20Eww it looks uncomfortable.
21would look good in a urban loft
22It looks cool but I don't think it would be comfortable at all. :-/
23not comfy enough for my tush, but it looks neat! how innovative.
24LOL I have a floor lamp that *I* made out of CDs, it's very cool. I just need a neon tube up the center to really make it GLOW man. It took years and years to collect enough trash CDs to make it happen (I mean, someone had to get all those AOL disks at the market, right?).
I think that chair would be the closest thing you could get to a full body EPILADY.
25It sure looks cool, but I would be afraid of breaking the CDs or something if I sat on it...
26I think it looks awesome and I would have one =]
27That'd be quite comfy if the discs were fixed. If they're free to rotate, you'd slide right off it.
Is nobody realising the shear weight of this thing? Ever lifted a 100 spool of discs? That chair needs to big guys to shift it...
28It's so AOL.
