I have yet to find the perfect iPod holder for working out. I need something that will hold my iPod securely, allows easy access to my buttons and will prevent wires from dangling all over the place. Having said that, I'm open to trying out any and all products that somewhat adhere to my criteria. The nekFIT shown here is said to be lightweight, offers complete mobility and eliminates tangled wires.
Discussed on Gearfuse, the nekFIT comes in three flexible iPod clip sizes to fit all the various iPods. The company claims that you can easily change songs although I'm going to assume you need eyes on the back of your head to complete this task. The actual video of it in use (which you can check out below) makes it look kinda neat — I guess I can't knock it till I try it! In the meantime, I'm going to give the sports cap and new Nano armband by Belkin a test drive. The nekFIT is priced at $34.

It's good to be a cyclist: I just put my Creative Zen (no ipods for me!) either in my handlebar bag or into a ziptop baggie (to keep it non-sweaty) and drop it into the pockets on the back of my jersey.
When I'm hiking, I can put it into the pocket of my shirt or pants. I can see that running would be a lot more difficult!
1what's the most annoying thing for me is lifting weights - this would be awesome for lifting I think.
i use an armband for running.
2I'm not sure if I'd want my iPod on my neck.
3I don't think I would like the feel of my 30gb ipod hanging off the back of my neck??
4lol so fashionable! might be nice for the smaller ipods but not the bigger ones...
5I'm pretty sure that changing songs while running on a treadmill is not as simple as that girl makes it seem. I can't even change songs that easily when I'm walking with my iPod in my hand, I need to sneak a peek at the controls.
6i have a nano and def want to try this. i hate the wires and my arm gets all sweaty when i run long distance with teh armband...
7I get too sweaty to have something around my neck. I run the headphones down my back instead of my front and clip the iPod to my shorts in the front. I rarely get my arm tangled pulling out the earbuds.
8The arm band seems to work fine.. I'm not sure if I'd want something on the back of my neck though. It might become annoying after a while.
9ehh, I wouldn't buy it.
10...
That's all I'm going to say.
11can we say "potential choking hazard"?
no thanks.
12I think it looks pretty cool. When running the constant swinging of the cords annoy me. Plus, it won't weigh down your waistband!!
13I got one about a week ago. Saw at at a show. It works. No more wires swinging in the air when I'm doing stuff. The iPod doesn't get wet cause the strap holds it up. Can't even tell its there. I say it's a go.
