Vertu has long been one of the top names in luxury cell phones, but their most recent design may win the race against the competitors. The Vertu Ferrari phone, which is being sold by Nokia stores in London, Paris and Hong Kong, was designed in collaboration with Ferrari and costs a whopping $25,400. The release of the phone, which features a shift gate on its posterior, coincides with Ferrari's 60th anniversary.

While the appeal of a cell phone that costs more than my computer is a bit of a mystery to me, I can admit it's easy to be impressed by the company's special edition phones. The Ferrari phone certainly makes the MOTORAZR Ferrari phone look like a cheap knock off.

I don't think I like this phone. It's nice and sleek, but I wouldn't think ANY phone is worth $25,000!
1Very sleek but the price is ridiculous.
225,000????? Ridiculous! That's more than some cars!
3OMG I LOVE IT...but not that price tag on it...
4That is a guy phone all the way!
5Why?
6thats awesome. verrrry expensive..i
7sleek, but 25 grand?!?
8very sleek. i kinda like it apart from the leather (and price)
9what is the point in a phone that costs 25K????? that thing is not even cute. My red razr is thinner.
10kinda like the hard drive designed my porche, what's the point really?
11wow, nice looking. The price is way too much.
12nice looking, but I have never spent that much on a CAR! And, I wish cell phone manufacturers would quit worrying so much about how they LOOK and focus on how they WORK. I would love to buy a phone that let me connect every time and stay connected when I made phone calls - and had good sound quality! I know this is complicated with all the connections, but until this problem gets straitened out, I have no urge to spend much money on a phone.
13That better be one nice phone for that price...maybe its just the exclusivity that is the appeal for some people
14uhmmm would the carrier offer insurance on it? That's an insane price tag! I don't care if you have millions or billions, strategically placed in different banks around the world, I can't imagine there being something so amazing about a phone to pay $25,000 for it (unless of course it morphs into car or a jet or something....lol)
15yea i like it enough to buy the knock off one for 300 $
