This alarm clock may cover most of your night side table, but it can be used as a lamp, alarm and a chic art piece— making its large size justifiable. Featured on Coolest Gadgets, the NightCove by Zyken combines innovative technology to create an alarm clock that uses sound and light for relaxation or for waking-up. The light will gradually decrease in intensity so you can slowly adjust from day to night, helping you drift into dreamland alot easier. In the morning the LED lights will gradually turn on, acting as a natural stimulant in the morning. For more product info check out the Zyken website. I like the concept of this clock, but don't think I'd use it much since natural light acts as my non-invasive alarm clock! What do you think?

It looks really cool! It's not too bright either. Chic.
It's quirky and excellent
i absolutely LOVE it Geek! do you know how much it is? i'd seriously like to buy it!
the concept is great, but i'm so blind i need a LARGE display. there is no way i'd be able to see that display without my glasses or contacts.
Ohh, I like it alot.
that's really cool. I want one.
I really love this concept, but I don't think it would work for me. I need a very loud alarm to startle me in order for me to get up. I'm a sound sleeper. I know it sounds weird, but the light probably won't wake me up.
It's very pretty though.
handy dandy
That's kinda cool.
I love it. I'd love to have this for when I move into my dorm next semester!
oooooo pretty! i want one!
I have black-out shades on my windows in my bedroom so I either need this or motorized shades to help me wake up in the AM. I sleep a lot better at night with the dark shades, but I also sleep a lot better in the morning with the dark shades when I should be getting ready for work.
Ooh I like that!! Very cool.
totally love it
cool!
oooohhh this would look very pretty in my room..i wonder if it comes in different colors???
Wow, I love it!
I wish i could buy one of those!
I'm not sure.
I like the color so yeah I think I'd buy it...need to find out how much!
OMG $2,500 for this clock?
Riiiight...even if I had the $$ I would not
be spending it on a clock!
I need something other than alarm buzzing to wake up to! Looks great!
Very Cool!
I've always been curious about the wake-up-by-light alarms, especially for the winter, when I have to get up before the sun rises. However, the price of this is absurd.
There are much less expensive (and not as chic) alarm clocks out there that use the same concept of the light getting stronger to wake you up. I've used these for years,...and after the first year i got so used to it that the gradually increasing light no longer wakes me up and it's up to the blaring alarm to take care of getting me out of my coma. i still like it though - it's more interesting than your usual alarm clock.
I also need a wake-by-light method in the mornings, particularly in winter. I looked at the other available "sunrise" alarms, but they all got horrible reviews, so for a cheaper alternative, I set my bedside lamp on one of those automatic timers that costs $10 (e.g. http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeI...). Works like a charm!
i love it! i hope it comes in blue!
At first glance/read, I wished that I had a reason to ever be awoken by an alarm. Then I saw the $2,500 price tag and now I'm like, "Ha, I don't need you."
Love this!! If it were in my price range, I'd buy one. But $2,500?
Too bad
that make the lighting so sexxxy! love it!
