If you've got an iPhone, here's a nifty tip that will instantly put a ruler in your hand.
Billy Chasen has ingeniously created a digital ruler that will fit your whole iPhone screen so it looks like you have a real ruler. All you have to do is add it to your pictures and sync it onto your iPhone (although don't try to do it online as the dimensions will be off).
Now you have an iPhone that does everything and then some— including measure things!

I know that this long list looks scary, but trust me, once you get the hang of it, it'll be a snap the second time around.
- First of all, join the 'How To' Help - Guide To All Things Geeky
- Click "Create and Share!" on the left hand side
- Choose "Blog"
- Give your photo a Title
- Leave the category as "general"
- Change the channel to "technology and gadgets"
- Add keyword(s) (for example mine for this photo was "Geek tip")
- Click on the "Add Image" link below the "body" box
- A popup window will happen - click on "Browse" to find your image on your computer
- Once you have the image chosen, click "Submit"
- The popup will show you your image, choose size: "normal" - if you want, you can give it a title (which will show up as a caption)
- Click "Insert" and the popup will go away
- Your "body" box will now have some text in it. Leave it as is. If you want to add some text before the picture telling me why you think this person is geeky, do it before the code that has appeared.
- Click Submit

4First of all No, you don't want an iphone, want to know why? as Maddox...if you dont know who maddox is then you must have been under an internet rock for a while, anyway to my point. DO NOT get me wrong I absolutely LOVE Popsugar, Geeksugar, and all the other subdivisions of this website however there is one thing that seriously disappoints and angers me about Geeksugar, and that is the fact that everything is about ipods. Why do you focus soooo much on mp3 players that arent even close to top of the line? I know that apple shoves their adds down our throats on a daily basis but you do know that apple and their ipods are no where close to the best mp3 players out there right? so why arent you using your space on Geeksugar to educate readers about other less expensive yet better quality electronics with better sound specs and options than ipod offers, im really sorry but if i see one more thing bragging up iphones, ipods, or their accessories I think that I am going to scream because they dont deserve all the recognition that they get..
5Because iPods are in 85% of the hands of people who use mp3 players. That's why you see posts. That means 85% of the readers here have iPods. If you don't like it, don't click.. that's how your voice is heard. Maybe post some links of your own on your favorite mp3 players, people do read the teamsugar member blogs quite a bit
