Here's a helpful shortcut tip from tips4mac for all you
Firefox users. The next time you go to type in a URL in the address bar, stop typing before the ".com" part and hit "command-enter." This shortcut key sequence will instantly insert the ".com" part and direct you to a particular site. Try with geeksugar and hit "command+enter," it will instantly add the .com! "Shift +enter" will also add ".net" and "shift+command+enter" will add ".org."
This is a great tip, but I've also found that hitting enter will sometimes add the ".com" as well so I guess you just never know (although for the .net and .org this is really useful).

oooooo shortcuts are fun!
1I love that one, also the Command K for putting the cursor in the search bar saves me so much time. Shortcuts are the best!
2For windows, it's Ctrl+Enter to add the .com. Pretty neat! Moreso for the .net
3I never type .com, .org, or .net. I just type popsugar, craftster, or whatever. it adds it for me without hitting anything.. even with .net and .org it just seems to know what I want
I'm using firefox on an imac...
4Ctrl+L for cursor in address bar (Windows Firefox) and Ctrl+K for cursor in search engine bar, (ie Wiki, google, m-w, amazon, etc search bar)

6I love learning about new shortcuts. It's like finding 'easter eggs' on websites.
7It's so much easier to type .com. Especially if you're a fast typer.
8I always just type the website into google search and then let them find the page. But this is useful
