Last week, Time magazine posted a list of the Top 10 Internet Blunders of All Time. My favorite is Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the British computer scientist credited with creating the Internet in 1989, says he added the annoying forward slashes to "http://" on a whim! He also admits if he could change one thing about the Internet now, he'd get rid of the slashes.
Also on the list of blunders? Apple mistakenly posting an episode of Stargate Atlantis to the iTunes store in 2007 four weeks before it was scheduled to air; AOL releasing users' search histories to the public, having to apologize by saying, "This was a screw-up," and a small code error in Sweden (just last week) that took down the entire country's .se domain.
Have you ever made a major technology or Internet blooper? Share it in the comments below.

lol! those are all hilarious. thankfully, i've never had had a technology or internet blooper.
1i'm not a programmer or anything so the only bloopers i've ever experienced was when i mistakenly sent an email to the wrong person
who remembers when something unhooked on facebook and you could access everyone's profile, no matter who it was, and get into their inbox? it didn't last for more than a couple hours though (maybe even less than an hour)
2Does GeekSugar's equating of the World Wide Web with the Internet make it into the top blunders? He created the world wide web, not the internet; the internet was running long and strong far before 1989.
3YOU are right WeWhoEat....
Many people have claimed to have "invented" the internet....and often they confuse World Wids Web with it... Former President Clinton also once claimed he invented it as well. What a dork.
