She's no Hollaback girl, but Gwen Stefani has teamed up with Hewlett-Packard to launch the consumer-facing portion of the company's $300 million global marketing campaign. According to The Utility Belt, HP is hoping to encourage people to experiment with demanding print jobs at home and at work and is using little Miss Stefani's face and style to promote the campaign.
In doing so, consumers will be able to add photos to Gwen's Sweet Escape tour shots to create their very own album. Gwen will also be showcasing Harajuku Lovers paper dolls that can be customized online and printed at home. HP's new logo for these designs inspired by Gwen will be called "Gwen Stefani for you." Usually I'd think a Gwen Stefani/Printer endorsement might not make sense, but I love how HP has used printing as the medium to so many other great projects!

sounds interesting. i love when artists add a sense of interactivity to their websites or tours or what-not.
1I'm not sure I understand the tie-in.
2I think it sounds cool - not only b/c it involves Gwen, but also b/c it's smart strategy for HP. Gwen is so creative, so I can see why HP chose her for the campaign.
I have an HP printer that I only use to print out regular documents. I've *always* wanted to learn how to do more with it. Could Gwen be my inspiration???
3She looks good!
4cuteness factor is always great for print /:D
5Gwen stefani has been pimping herself a lot lately it's kind of annoying... but i still love her to reese pieces.
6I love HP! She looks fab in these ads.
7Man, she's everwhere these days.
8Wow, I always pegged her as a Mac girl. I feel kinda let down
But she looks fantastic.
9SHe looks great. :)Go Gwen! lol
10I checked it out. Cool
11This actually isn't the first time Gwen has worked with HP. She designed a digital camera for them a year or two back. It's a really cute camera. I think that's why she's doing the printer ad now.
