I abuse my laptop. I can't help it. I'm constantly on it, mistakenly touching its screen and leaving my fingerprints all over. So how does one protect their screen? Aside from being more cautious, you can use LappyMats, an ultra-microfiber cloth that was designed to protect your laptop's LCD screen.
The mats act as a soft cushion to be laid in-between your laptop lid and keyboard to provide full protection from scratches that are caused by your keyboard or trackpad while traveling. You can also use the cloth to clean dust, dirt and everyday oils off any part of your laptop.
The screen protectors are available for just about any make or model of laptop/notebook on the market from 11.1” widescreens all the way up to 20” custom laptops. They cost $10-20.

1Thank you soooo much for posting this! I used the one by Marware and let's just say it didn't work out. *sigh*
2Thanks for the post Angelica, we hope your loving your LappyMat.
3I could definitely use something like this.
4I just kaboodled it. Love the concept. My laptop screen is always dirty it seems, no matter how often i clean it.
Thanks geek!
5this sounds great! and cheap too!
6i should get this and its affordable!
7I need one of these for our laptop. I didn't even know they made these!
8i had something from that company for my old powerbookg4 and i seriously think that it was the reason why the hinge broke and it is no longer useable now! i know the new macbooks have different hinges but i still wouldn't use one.
9This is a great product! Thanks!

I am sure it wasn't our product that you had. Our product gets tested on each laptop on the market for long periods of time to ensure that will never happen. Along with that Our product has only been available to consumers for 2 months.
11i guess it must've been something almost exactly the same in every way then. as i said, the hinges on new laptops have changed so even my old one might not have been a problem on new laptops.but whatever
