26I have to admit I am a 20 something and I enjoy twiilght but I have to agree w/ the majority that this will only drive in the tweens. I do get annoyed when there are articles and stories about 14 year old disney starts on the sugar websites, because that is clearly NOT something i relate to or am interested in.

I agree with just changing the site name to SelloutSugar, at least it's honest.

Just to clarify, TwilightSugar is just one place to read all the fun Twilight/Vampire-related content that already exists on all the Sugar sites. It will still be on the sites (i.e. Bella posts on Bella, Buzz on Buzz), but if you want to see them all in one place, you can look at TwilightSugar.

Really? The Twilight posts are the most annoying ones here! Too many, and I agree with others -- do they think we care? Please...Twilight, Jonas Brothers, posts on how to get LC's braids, etc. -- leave it to the 14 year olds! Silly, silly!

37I have to agree though, Twilight is not at all a concern of mine. What might be a better idea is a TeenSugar where stuff like that and all the above things mentioned by commenters should go...Lohan, Twilight, Jonas, etc.

39Scrolling through the comments, I have to say that I agree. I've found that a lot of the content on this site, especially on BuzzSugar and PopSugar has gotten a bit young for my tastes. This is a terrible idea and is very counter to what brought me to Sugar Inc in the first place: intelligent discussion aimed at women, not girls. I also don't like feeling like I'm being sold something at every turn. I understand that websites need to make money, but there has been a huge increase in the amount of "sponsored" content and sidebar ads in the last year or so.
That being said, I do think the suggestion above for "TeenSugar" is a good one if Sugar Inc would like to continue to attract a younger readership. It would be a great place for more youth-oriented content, especially entertainment and fashion. Definitely something to consider!
40Yeah, I'm 20, and this Twilight stuff makes me sick because they are polluting every sugar network. Also, the vampire bias is awful- geeksugar wiring every vamp from tweenville "vampire diaries and twilight" but not doing it for True Blood, which should be more in our demographic and maturity level? So lame. I like kscincotta's idea for teensugar, that sounds like a good solution. But I guess instead of complaining, I could just make my own "modern non-teenager girl" centered blog.
41People of all ages like twilight, not just teens and I happen to love it and am far from being a teenager. Stephenie Meyer actually didn't write the twilight saga aimed at teens but it turned out that a lot of teens liked it but also a lot of adults do as well. I like the twilight sugar idea, at least there won't be any negative comments to skip over. I also would be fine with all the twilight threads going there instead of here but that's probably not going to happen.

Yes there will, the stories will appear on all sites, just condensed into one spot for TwilightSugar. Much like this thread appears on all sites, you'll still get all the comments, not just the fans.

44#43 I know they will be on the other sites as well but I don't think EVERY single twilight thread will be on the others, I don't know guess we will have to wait and see. Like I said before I wouldn't mind the twilight threads staying in the twilight sugar site because of all the negative comments to skip over, then people wouldn't have anything to complain about, but like I said before that's not gonna happen.

Put all the stuff geared at teens (like Twilight and such) on Teensugar. I come to the sugars to learn and get more insight on the local community and the world, not to be bombarded by a teen craze. If people want to get info on such teen things then go to Teensugar. (good idea nikkeeb)
And leave Trueblood and other vampire movies/books geared for adults out of Twilightsugar. TB is in such a different league on all aspects.

That's the issue, it won't all go over there. Basically TSugar will be a collection of all the Twilight stories already posted on the rest of the Sugar sites. They do it during wedding season as well. Wedding stuff all over the Sugar sites, and then a "WeddingSugar" (or named similarly) tab that you can go to.
