Recession, what?! Just since last year, Apple has managed to increase its revenue by 12 percent during these hard economic times, bringing in $9.87 billion in revenue with a quarterly profit of $1.67 billion. The company managed to sell three million Macs, 10 million iPods, and seven million iPhones, all in its fiscal fourth quarter that ended on Sept. 26. Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs, had this to say about its successful quarter:
"We are thrilled to have sold more Macs and iPhones than in any previous quarter. We've got a very strong lineup for the holiday season and some really great new products in the pipeline for 2010."
I picked up a new iPhone this year, but I didn't get a new laptop or iPod, so I guess I was one of the millions of people who contributed to these staggering figures. What about you? Did you purchase a new Apple device this past year? Or are you waiting for the rumored cheaper MacBooks?

1Never have, hopefully never will.
2i didn't buy a new macbook or a new ipod as i already have one but i will be buying an iphone coming up in november. and i picked up snow leopard back in september
3I did. I bought a new Macbook Pro back in June and picked up the free iPod Touch as well.
4I bought a Macbook with the free iPod Touch, and an iPhone.
5I contributed twice, I got my macbook(last year, but same fiscal year), and my ipod touch (not free, bought it at different time)
6I bought a Macbook this summer and snow leopard last month. As well as a $100 power adapter. (Those things are absurdly expensive and faulty. They probably make a pretty penny from them)
7yes, many many contributions.
8just waiting for my iphone
9I contributed by buying two iPhones this year.
10I bought my iPhone in the beginning of the fiscal year.
11as a matter of fact I did contribute- many times. My hubby and I bought our Iphones at the top of the quarter and then the 3gs came out and dear hubby HAD to have it. I bought my macbook as well, my three year old got his itouch(YES! I SAID THREE YEAR OLD and he uses it like he is supposed to and we have had a much better time traveling because of it!) We also purchased our apple tv and a couple of software for the mac. Sooo....Steve, I need a discount on my next purchase, which will be the new mouse.
12I helped - I bought an iPhone this year.
13Yup, I got a new 3Gs so I contributed!
14Not this year, but I have been a great supporter over the last 20 or so years. I started young. I think I'll be required to make a contribution to the Apple fund next year or I'll lose my Mac "Fangirl" status.
15Sadly, I had to skip snow leopard due to it's incompatibility with a number of the softwares that I run currently.
i bought an iphone and a 15inch mac book pro....broke as a pickle now.
