Attention iPhone owners (yeah we're taking to you macgirl!). Apple is asking anyone who owns an iPhone to share their stories on its website. Presumably, your story is a little something like mine: I spent two days stalking the people in line at the Apple store in downtown San Francisco and all of release day standing in the sun with a bunch of iPhone crazy dudes. I guess that's why they call me a geek. Apple says:
If you own an iPhone, we’d love to hear how it’s changed your life, or your favorite story about using it. Call and leave a voicemail with your story at 1-800-764-9941, or write us. We’re all ears.
Me thinks they must be planning some sort of viral marketing campaign. If you want in on the action and don't have a phone yet you can get a refurbished one for $100 off.

i wonder how many geeksugar readers own one! i'd love to hear people's stories!
1I have one and I LOVE it.
2We ordered ours online, but my husband couldn't wait two weeks and called the Apple store the next day. They had plenty and there was no line. We were at the store 30 minutes later. Fifteen minutes after that we were powering up our iPhones.
My number switched over in a few hours, but my husband's info (poor baby) didn't transfer over until the next day.
I have used it for traffic reports, to check my email, it's entertained my toddler and oh yeah, I've used it to make phone calls.
my story would be how i don't have an iphone and how my life is that much sadder due to this fact
lol

I'm not much of a Voicemail person as I tend to talk fast when I'm nervous
4My story isn't really exciting... I just walked in, it was available, and I bought one. It hasn't exactly changed my life either since the phone I was originally considering had the same basic features and was, in some ways, a lot better than the iPhone.
Which isn't to say I don't love my phone because I do! I just don't have anything remarkable to share.
5I was going to be bitten by a rattlesnake but then I threw my iphone at it. I can safely say my iphone saved my life.
Thank you, Steve Jobs.
