Earlier this month, Nintendo announced the latest addition to its empire — the next version of Wii Fit, Wii Fit Plus. With new features including a wider selection of exercises, yoga activities fun balance board games, as well as more customization options, Wii Fit Plus is all about getting fit while having fun. I had the chance to check out the $20 game last week ($100 in a bundle with the balance board), and they've certainly made some huge improvements since the original Wii Fit exercise program. I can't wait to test it out at home to see how it compares to our 30-Day Wii Fit Challenge and the EA Sports Active 30-Day Challenge.

I am SO EXCITED for this! I wish that it were possible to link step classes together though - I would love to be able to do two, three, or four of the advanced step classes from the original WiiFit.
It comes out right at the beginning of my week-long fall break, which will give me PLENTY of time to get into the habit of doing at least the relax set before going to bed (before I start worrying about what I'm teaching the next day again).
1Oh! I hadn't heard about this, but now I'm excited. I was a bit disappointed with the original Wii Fit, but this looks like a good way to step it up a bit and make it more effective.
2woohoo! i just got a $25 gift certificate from my aunt and uncle. I am going to add this to my wii game collection.
