So this might be a no-brainer in terms of its "totally geeky or geek chic?" factor, but I couldn't help but share the Angel wake-up alarm with you. When I first saw this device on Geek Alerts, I couldn't believe my eyes. The Wake-Up Angel was designed to keep you alert during those moments when you don't want to drift off (class, work, a date, you catch my drift). Just place it behind you ear and whenever your head turns 30-degrees or lower, the ear piece will vibrate. You can choose from four different adjustments of angle levels where you want the vibrator to go off. Priced at around $20, the alarm comes in black or pink and includes a keychain hook, but doesn't have bluetooth...awww such a shame!

thats so creepy. i don't like the idea of people doing so much in their days that they aren't getting enough sleep.
mind you- there are times when i had to take a final exam but got maybe 2 hours of sleep because i was worrying about the test so much i couldn't sleep...and i'd
almost fall asleep during the exam! they wouldn't allow a device like that in to an exam though.
This is cool---I worry about myhusband driving for 1 1/2 hrs to work w/ only 5 hrs of sleep each night.
Geeky/annoying, something along those lines. I wouldn't wear it.
ahhaahha this is weird!
good idea, but ugly looking.
I wouldn't wear it, but I can see it being helpful if you have trouble staying awake.
I like the idea of it but I wonder how comfortable it is.
A crash would wake you before that gadget could. I wouldn't wear it!
I think its geeky
I remember something like this when I was a kid. It's not that new and kinda weird.
Wow.
Just... wow.
It looks pretty tacky, but it might be useful for studying all night long!
I guess if it keeps people from falling asleep at the wheel it's a good thing. One girl at my school was driving home after not sleeping, studying, finals -- fell asleep at the wheel, crashed, and broke both her arms. Thank goodness it wasn't worse and she didn't hurt anyone else!
that's really cool to have!
really cool !
A couple months ago I had some sleep problems and every time I got in the car I got really sleepy and actually dozed off a few times. I could have used this then.
I THINK IT WOULD GET ON MY NERVES... and i'd eventually take it off throw it across the room and sleep
if i'm sleepy enough no man shall stop me!
I could use this in some of my classes.
These types of devises have been around a long time. Most geared toward drivers and not marketed the same. Truckers and such have used them for years.
I think its cool. I don't know how well it would go over in a classroom though because teachers don't really like it when you have any trace of a phone or something that looks like it on you or on at all during class. But it would definitely help for those 8AMs when you just can't keep your eyes open or your head up...
I don't know if it's chic, but I've got narcolepsy and that would come in handy!
it's a good idea.... but very geeky
Very similar device (only not pink) has been available in the US for at least twenty years. Look in any catalog catering to retired people. Usually costs about five or ten bucks.
it's definitely useful, but it's a voluntary thing. so it's only as helpful as someone willing to use it. plus it looks kinda lame.
That would come in handy if you were trying to stay up all night long for something. Hmm..interesting.
Totally geeky.
I can see how it's useful but still...
It's geeky but not a bad idea.
Totally geeky
Where was this when I was in college!?! I once had a professor ask if I was narcoleptic...
as geeky as it is, i think i'll try this thing out
I'm really not sure which this is.... All that comes into my mind is that it would give me a head ache
Hi I am joselinadam,
A vibrating alarm clock has a sound alarm and a vibrating function that give off a more alerting alarm, It is especially useful for the deaf,The vibrating function can be used as a silent alarm; it wakes up a person through mere vibrations.
