With the 140TC Twitter Conference in LA in full swing, it would only make sense that the popular micro-blogging site debuts some new features.
What can we expect? Well, geotagged tweets could be surfacing in the next few days, as the Twitter platform team waits for the green light to launch local functionality live.
Are you excited about your tweets being traced to an exact location? Or are you more excited about knowing the whereabouts of the people you follow?

Neither! I use UberTwitter on my Blackberry & almost deleted the app when I couldn't figure out how to turn off my location...Thankfully, I found where/how to do so. I don't want people seeing exactly where I am and I have no interest in seeing exactly where other people are. I think it's really really creepy & they better have an option not to show your location or they'll be losing a lot of users including myself!
1um no! i dont want to let strangers know where i live and what about celebrities? they cant exactly give out their address to thousands of fans now can they?
2I still think the only update Twitter should do is develop organization of tweets. Maybe a filtration system or something. Anything new than just; Trends, Search, & going to 1 users profile.
3as long as i can turn that off i'm good. not interested and random strangers knowing where i am. that's taking the stalker enabling to a whole new level. not to mention the safety risks.
