Change schmange. I'm not usually one to sing the blues when something in my Internet world changes (OK, maybe I do care about some changes), especially if it changes for the better and makes my life a little bit easier. But if it changes for no apparent reason and brings additional stress to my life — no thank you!
Yesterday I noticed that Google has supersized its search page. . . my guess is the font went from a 14pt to a 20pt font, which is a big difference! It's not that I'm Googling naked pictures of Robert Pattinson or anything (shh, don't tell anyone), but whatever you're typing in — plus the suggested results that show up — are pretty big on your screen. And when you have an already rather large external screen like mine, you can see everything and then some. What do you think? Is Google's new search page a tad on the big side for your liking?

im glad to read this because i thought the same thing when i fired up google yesterday but i wasnt sure if i was just not looking close enough before haha.
1I am so glad you posted this! I thought I was going crazy because I kept pointing this out to some friends and they didn't think it had changed any! Also, I hate it. It screws up my internet groove.
2I just noticed it this morning and yes, it's too big.
3Not a fan... my 24" screen faces the rest of the office so it's def not too subtle!
4I can't stand it! It's amazing how something so minor can bug me so much.
5The Google page that I just saw looks fine to me. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong one or they just fixed it.
6I don't use google.....bing is so much better.
7It looks terrible!
Especially on my large screen.
Why can they not simply give me the option to set my own size?
Also, it seems the text appears slower then before.
Not sure it is the font change or other changes put in at the same time...
Hope they fix it soon!
8ick, why did they do this? It's not like we're blind over here...
9I actually like it!
10I hate the change. I run at a high resolution because I like things small. Google has made their stuff larger than "normal" and it looks cartoonish compared to most everything else. If I want things bigger I have that control already. Now they're just out of whack with everybody else, so if I decrease my font size other sites look too small. If it ain't broke...
11I hate it.
12i really like it. it was a nice surprise for me.
13Google, on their way to becoming the next Microsoft. I switched to Bing/Mahalo a while back, and both are way better than Google search.
