Sony announced it is recalling 416,000 digital cameras today because the case may warp and create an edge that can cut or scratch the user's hands. The company will replace the bottom casing, which seems to be the root of the problem, at no cost to the customer. According to the Associated Press, the recall affects 350,000 Cyber Shot DSC-T5 cameras sold in the United States, Europe and China, about 66,000 sold in Japan. If you purchased this camera check out the recall guide put up on the Sony website.

2Shafiii ... that's because no one wants to make a great, QUALITY product. Nothing's made the way it used to be. It's a shame when it's cheaper to throw something away than to go get it fixed. (Shoes, appliances ... it doesn't matter.)
