It was a busy day in SF yesterday with all eyes on the "It's Only Rock and Roll" event. Not only did Steve Jobs made his triumphant, black turtlenecked return to the keynote stage after taking time off for his health, but iTunes 9 was introduced, and then there were the iPods. Oh, the video and FM tuner enabled iPods. Plus, who could forget the monster capacity bump to 160GB on the iPod Classic and new candy-colored iPod Shuffles? My head is spinning.
Personally, I'm pretty excited about the iPod Nano's video function (which shoots at VGA quality 640x480), as well as the integrated Nike + pedometer. I mean, hello — a geek's gotta stay in shape! Now share your favorites — which Apple announcement are you most excited about?

hey geek - video is all good but can the nano take pictures?
1I'm extremely excited for the new Nano, but I just a Nano in March, so I can't see myself getting a new one for a while. But the new iPod Shuffles are just too darn cute!
2Personally, I'm excited for the price drop on the ipod touch. I'll finally purchase the 32g
3All in all, the only thing that I was excited for is that I could finally update my application locations on my ipod touch from itunes. Everything else could have gone by the wayside for me.
I will NEVER understand why the iphone has a camera and now the Nano has a camera, but they refuse to put a camera into the ipod touch. More cost or any other excuses don't mean much to me. It would be nice to see a camera in an ipod touch where it could be useful.
4I so want one of the new nanos!! I wish they could figure out a way to do AM, along with the FM radio. But, that's what WiFi is for, I guess.
5My new Nano gets here in an hour. I love that it works seamlessly with Nike+, and can be upgraded with a heart rate monitor. Awesome!
6Apple is making this so hard on me! I need a new iPod and I was dead set on the Touch but this new Nano is just so awesome! Plus I'm still in love with the pretty colors.
I'm really liking the FM Tuner. I always thought that iPod needed one, I
had a Creative Zen that I could listen to the radio with and missed that when I switched to Apple.
7difficult choice... i love the price of the touch has drop...i bought one last year, 16 gb...no i could buy the 32 gb for the same price ouch!!!!!!
the news nano with the color... i refuse the ipod touch have a camera, i don't see the point and i m glad they don't put a camer on. i just don't like the idea.. for my ipod is music

8@BushraUK only video, I guess it's too thin to do a sensor that will allow it to do stills. iTunes 9 was the most exciting thing for me. I like being able to arrange my iPhone apps pages in iTunes. The Home Sharing is really nice. It will let us play all our non DRM'd music on up to 5 computers in the house (all music purchased from the iTunes store now is non DRM but I still have some that I need to upgrade).

10The ability to move my iPhone apps using my computer. Thank goodness! Such a pain to move them on the iPhone.
