Uh, yeah. They are notorious for breaking, also called "three red lighting." If yours hasn't broken, you are very lucky.
1Partly their fault to be sure but I also believe it goes in that order because the 360's used the most (at least in our house), so obviously something running on 50 hours a week as opposed to 10 is inclined to break somehow. But with that said mine hasn't failed me yet.
