Danny Seo of Simply Green captured this photo of hemp iPod covers at a magazine industry trade show recently. Like most of us, the magazine industry is already prepping for the holiday season and thinking about what items will make it big this year. Could it be that hemp iPod covers will trump designer iPhone cases, or are they a little too green for your liking? Personally, I love the textures and colors and think these would be great, durable cases. What do you think?

5I dig it. maybe if people stopped with the labels, it wouldn't seem so "passe". Being enviromentally conscious is still ok, right? Ok since that's settled, its obviously a good idea. I love that its good for the environment, if not a political statement on the varied uses of hemp. The only problem I see is that it will be over-priced (hemp is so super cheap to produce) with people so quick to label it, "(really) hippy" Thanks, essentially I'll have to pay for that statement.

15There are some better hemp iphone iPod cases ( I guess u would say it is more like a pouch) but it covers your whole ipod for the best protection. Also u can custom design your own in lots of colors. Very reasonably priced at $15.99. I custom designed a rasta one today. Go to www.dontsmokemyhat.com (oh they also make hats).
