The Essential Wall Dimmers offer a new and colorful way to adjust the lights in your home. All you have to do is tap on the tufted textile sensor and it turns on, off or dims your lights. Each dimmer is handcrafted in Seattle, WA from Designtex wool felt, conductive yarns, neoprene, and acrylic. The electronic fibers are embedded directly into the material, so there are no hidden buttons or switches in the fabric. I like the idea for playrooms and even a funky, mod family room or game room. What do you think?

It's such a cute idea!!!! I'd defnitely do that.
I like the idea but it sorta looks like a carpet mouse pad.
This is absolutely adorable!!! I wish I had them...
that's so cute!
very cute!
that's awesome. and the baby makes it cute
love it - the colours especially but these are way cooler looking than the boring Lutron brand ones, although those ones do come in diff. colours as well, they're just light-switch looking.
aww. this is a really neat idea.
so cute and customizable, LOVE IT!
this seems like it would confuse people all the time. lol.
Haha yeah, so many people would be at a loss when trying to figure out how to turn the lights on and off
I think this is really cute! I have these, minus the colors and the fuzy-ness. It's just a plain silver pad, and yes, people DO get confused on how to turn it on! Once they figure it out, they tend to go overboard and start fooling around =p
I love it! Decorative and with a purpose too!
awww perfect for lil kids^^
i think they're ugly, lol
thats a really great i dea, but i think theyre kinda ugly. i would deginetly like them if they werent so furry.
I wish the design was a little different, but it's a neat idea for a kid's room.
cute idea
that's ugly...so i'd do it for a childs room..lol
Like them.
I agree with PerfectScore! Only in a child's bedroom.
I'd be impressed with any interior decorator who could make these look chic.
thier nifty.
weird but interesting
this is really cute
and as i can see from the photo, it's kinda safe for kids too
*but not without parental supervision, of course*
I thought it was great at first ... but after reading the article and looking more closely at them, I'm not so sure. I have to say, not in my house - it just go with my decor at all!
Love it but its not for me
Those are neato and I love all the colors to choose from! Chic.
My wife and I just finished we we believe to be the worlds greatest Winnie the Pooh kids room.
With all the bad economy and doom and gloom we thought it might cheer others up and get them inspired to create their own special place.
