I got a chance to check out Samsung's new lineup of gadgets and gizmos this week and was very impressed with their upcoming Samsung MM-X5 MP3 Player Docking Station. It plays content from MP3 players, including any generation Apple iPod as well as CDs. The device has a built-in USB port that allows for instant music file playback from a standard USB memory drive as well, so if you're too lazy to put your music on your player you can just plug in your flash drive.
The MM-X5 comes in Samsung's token piano finish black and unlike some of the more simple docks on the market features a built-in display and an alarm that lets consumers select songs to wake up to. It features built-in 20 Watt speakers (10 Watts each), combined with Samsung's Digital Natural Sound engine technology. Available this October for $199.

ooh, very nice. i have to say that i'm quickly becoming a fan of samsung products. i have one of their cellphones and a headset, and my family has an assortment of their tvs. i will def be checking this item out when it is on the market.
1this is amazing in its capabilities, but im really not feeling how large it is
2There are better quality and better designed docking stations for iPods from other companies. But guess Geek is Samsung lover
she keeps bringing us Samsung things...
3I would opt for Bose, Harman Kardon or Pioneer docking stations
i like samsuns stuff, although if i had the money i'd go more with bose and harman kardon ( i have some of their speakers for my computer and just love them! they're 6 years old but work so well still).
4tdamji, if you don't have the money for Harman or Bose, then give a chance to Pioneer... Not as expensive as those 2, but yet much better sound and visual experience
5Good news for the lazy people... ME.
